MacPrune

See what is filling a Mac's disk on a map, then clean it by risk level with everything moved to the Trash.

A closer look

MacPrune is a storage cleaner and system monitor for macOS. It draws your whole disk as a map, where every folder is a tile sized by the space it takes, so you can see where each gigabyte went. One scan sorts clutter into three groups: safe to clean, review before cleaning, and handle with care. Cleanup moves files to the Trash instead of deleting them, so anything can be put back until you empty it. It also finds large files, uninstalls apps with their leftover files, shows what AI tools like Ollama, LM Studio and Cursor are using, and has a live monitor for CPU, GPU, memory, network and battery, plus a menu bar panel. The basic version is free with no account and no card. Pro is a one-time payment with no subscription, and unlocks every cleanup category and removes the limits. Scanning and cleaning happen on your Mac. Runs on macOS 13 or later, Apple Silicon and Intel.
